Race date will be Saturday, February 18, 2012. There is no additional cost for this race, only the regular $15 track fee applies. The usual open mod and F1 classes will not be run on this day.
Qualifier: 30 min of open track lapping, starting at 6:30pm sharp
Race: 120 min race, starting at 7:30pm sharp
Teams: Up to 2 racers per team are allowed. A single transponder must be used per team.

Everything has been kept as open as possible for this race (all the current guys will be able to run no problem). Motor and batts have been left open for you to determine your own race strategy.

There should be enough standing room in the driver's stand now that teams are allowed.

[CHS-2]: 86mm to 102mm wheel base permitted
MOTOR:
[MTR-1]: Unlimited
BATTERIES:
[BAT-1]: AAA allowed
[BAT-2]: LiFe allowed
BODY:
[BOD-1]: Kyosho Mini-Z and TRP bodies only
[BOD-2]: Windshields and window must be installed
[BOD-3]: Cutting/shaving of wheel wells for clearance/wheelbases allowed
[BOD-4]: Aftermarket wings allowed
WHEELS:
[WHL-1]: Maximum front wheel width is 8.5mm
[WHL-2]: Maximum rear wheel width is 11mm.
[WHL-3]: Maximum wheel diameter is 21mm
[WHL-4]: LM-size wheels and tires allowed
TIRES:
[TYR-1]: Rubber tire ONLY
[TYR-2]: No foam tires or silicon tires allowed
[TYR-3]: No traction compounds allowed on tire or on race surface
PITTING:
[PIT-1]: Car must exit track from designated pit lane
[PIT-2]: Car must resume race from designated pit lane after repair
[PIT-3]: Car cannot not be driven unless the driver is at their standing spot
REPAIRS:
[RPR-1]: Minor repairs are allowed adjacent to the pit lane [1]
[RPR-2]: Major repairs must be done at the racer's pit table [1]
[RPR-3]: No limit to nature of repairs or replacement of parts
[RPR-4]: No spare/back-up car is allowed
[1] "Minor repair" is limited to putting body or tire back on. All other repairs are considered a "major repair", including battery and transponder changes.

ZRound for your BlackBerry PlayBook

ZRound is the program that MC3 (and almost everyone else around the world) uses for lap counting. MC3 and the developer have had a great relationship over the years and they've just released a companion application for android 2.3 phones which lets you select your transponder number and see your personal laps. You have to have access to the wifi network that zround is running on in order for it to work.
MC3 and ZRound have partnered to bring the same ZRound Companion application to the BlackBerry® Playbook™. Right now the app only works on OS 2.0 which is currently not available to the public, however RIM™ has said it will be available some time this month.
MC3 has also been accepted as a vendor with BlackBerry® App World which doesn't mean a guarantee that the application will be accepted for distribution, but it does look positive. We've submitted the application for evaluation (fingers crossed).
The cost will be free and support will be provided by MC3 once approved for distribution through App World.
In future, we will also be looking to build a version for BlackBerry® phones.

Add them to your shopping cart and pay for them. This way, it will ensure you will get one when they become available. Otherwise, you run the risk of not getting it when they are released. Just a heads-up that even though I pre-order with Kyosho, I still may not get them as usually on very popular items, they oversell. Cedric got his first win of the season and Jon kept his consistency and took 2nd.
He is running away with the championship with 20.5 point over the second place. The fight for second heated up with Casey, Herbert, Jimmy, Danny and Cedric. Only 5.5 point covers the second to sixth.
